FAQ’s
HOW MANY INVITATIONS/ ORDER OF SERVICES DO I NEED?
You only need one invitation per household when budgeting for numbers of save the dates and wedding invitations. For Order of Services I recommend halving your church attendees so they share one between two. I always advise you to check your quantities carefully as reprints may incur an additional set up fee (see re-prints).
REPRINTS?
For letterpress, most of the effort is during the set-up of the press. Therefore for reprints I usually charge an additional £20 to cover the set-up time. This isn’t applicable for digital items.
CAN I CHANGE THE INK COLOUR ON A DESIGN?
Yes of course! Just contact Ellie Press with your preferred colour choice and stock design and I will send you a mock up.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO PUT IN MY GUEST INFORMATION?
Ellie Press has a list of items for you to consider when writing your guest information. Please ask.
HOW DO I WRITE MY ORDER OF SERVICE?
We can provide you with a template word document which you can update using your own readings/ hymns. You will then finalise any details with the person taking your ceremony.
CAN I CHANGE THE WORDING ON YOUR DESIGNS?
Yes all of my designs can be modified to suit your needs. In some cases additional text may compromise the design - in which case l will notify you and provide you with options.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY INVITATIONS?
If you have already chosen your design and have written your wording/ guest information then I require 10 business days (not including delivery). This may vary at peak times in which case I will notify you.
CAN I COLLECT MY INVITATIONS RATHER THAN PAY FOR DELIVERY?
Ellie Press is based in Weston Turville, Aylesbury. If you prefer to collect your invitations then let us know and we can contact you as soon as they are ready for collection.
CAN I SEE A LETTERPRESS PRINTED PROOF OF MY INVITATION?
Due to the time consuming set up elements involved in letterpress we cannot offer letterpress proofs of your order. We will email you a colour PDF to review and suggest that you purchase samples of the design that you love so you can see the paper, texture and design in colour.
