Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To create your personalised wedding stationery mockups prior to purchase

  • To utilise the online shopping cart on this website for the fulfilment of your order

  • To enable Ellie Press to post items out such as samples/ invitations or other purchases

From time to time I also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • A referral from a previous client or supplier may supply your name as having expressed an interest in my services and would like me to contact you with your permission.

Control of your personal information

We will not provide, sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.I do not share your personal details with other suppliers without your express permission. In some circumstances I may need to liaise with your wedding venue for your benefit but you will be part of those joint discussions.

Photography 

I do reserve the right from time to time to show photographs on social media channels such as instagram/ facebook and twitter or even on my website, photographs of wedding stationery. If these stationery items show personal identifying details (such as surnames and email addresses) I always ask permissions to show photographs and blur any specific details such as email. If the items are only using generic first names I will not always seek permission but will only post after the event has taken place.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto ‘terminal equipment’ (eg a computer or smartphone) when the user accesses a website. It allows the website to recognise that user’s device and store some information about the user’s preferences or past actions.

We occasionally use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for analysis to improve website functionality and future sales.
